Faryal Hussain

is an experienced educationist and school leader with over two decades of service in early childhood and primary education. She has held key leadership roles at institutions such as RedAster School, Washington International School, and The International School (IB World School), as well as with the Aga Khan Education Services. Her career includes starting a school from the ground up—developing policies, designing curricula, managing operations, and leading teacher training initiatives.

She holds an M.A. in Education Planning and Management, a Diploma in Dyslexia from the UK, and is a certified CPD Leader from The College of Teachers (UK). She also volunteers as a workshop leader, training teachers in under-resourced schools on how to effectively manage classrooms with limited resources.

As a Board Member and Trustee at Rahat Kada, she contributes her expertise in education management, capacity-building, and curriculum development. She advises on quality standards, supports operational planning, and helps guide the hospice’s efforts in staff training and structured community outreach.
